Shower & Tub Cleaning Wand
Hang a dish wand filled with your choice of shower cleaner in your shower. Then after every shower or bath, clean every surface with the dish wand and then rinse. Once out of the shower squeegee or towel dry all of the now clean surfaces to remove dirt, minerals and soap scum. With this daily habit your shower will never need a deep clean- multitask and save time!
The Magic of Dryer Sheets
Clean every surface in your bathroom, from porcelain to chrome, with used dryer sheets, without any added cleaning products. Dryer sheets are so handy for removing all kinds of dirt and scum in the bathroom. The best dryer sheets to use have already been used in the laundry and are on the way to the trash. Instead, save them. The tight fibers and weave wont scratch your delicate surfaces but will remove all kinds of debris with little to no scrubbing! You need to try it!
Pantyhose to Clean a Glass Shower Door
Use an old pair of pantyhose to clean you glass shower doors! Even if you clean and maintain your glass shower doors on a regular basis they can get a build up of grim and soap scum. To remove the thin layer of grim, without much effort, use an old pair of pantyhose to wipe away the scum. Please note: this method will only clean a thin layer of grim, any added build up will need more attention or a different method of removal.
Rain-X Shower Glass
Once glass shower doors are clean, apply a coat of Rain-X to keep them cleaner, longer. Rain-X will help shed water, reducing water marks and soap scum. Once a week I clean shower glass and apply Rain-X. Then, I squeegee the shower everyday so I am never scrubbing, it only take minutes to clean and the glass is always spotless!
Clean Any Faucet
You should regularly clean the faucets in your showers and sinks. Without regular cleaning, dirt and minerals from pipes and water, build up in the faucet head. This debris begins to contaminate the water with germs and affect the performance of your faucet. It doesn’t take much, some natural cleaners, a little scrubbing once a month should do the trick.
In a quart, or larger, zip-lock bag mix together a couple tablespoons of baking soda, some drops of dish soap and 1/2-1 cup white vinegar. Place the bag around the faucet head, secure it with a rubber band and let it soak for 30minutes to an hour. Then remove the bag and liquid, scrub the faucet head with an old toothbrush and rinse with hot water. All clean!
Keep all of your bathroom porcelain clean and shiny with this quick and easy cleaning ritual! Remove dirt and grim, discoloration and black spots in three simple steps. First, apply dish soap or dish washing detergent, scrub then rinse thoroughly. Next, apply bleach, or a bleach alternative, all over the sink, let it soak of a few minutes, then scrub and rinse clean. Next, apply Bar Keepers Friend to all of the stubborn spots and stains that just wouldn’t come out. Scrub for a few minutes and the spots will disappear!
